Two Richmond Heights school officials arrested on bribery, theft charges

CLEVELAND - The Superintendent of Richmond Heights Schools and a second high-ranking official were arrested on charges of bribery and theft Friday.

Superintendent Robert J. Moore, 52, of Mentor, and Richard R. Muse, 43, of Cleveland Heights were arrested late Friday on arrest warrants by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.

Muse serves as the Director of Building and Grounds for the school district.

The prosecutor's office sought arrest warrants for Moore and Muse based on video evidence of the two males shaking down a business for $3,700 in cash for the past month.

Indictments for the two officials could be returned within the next week.

NewsChannel5 will give more details as they develop.
