CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - In another cost-savings move, the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District has trimmed its staff by 34.
The cuts come from the administrative office and support staff, according to our partners at Patch.com.
Technically, only 11 employees will lose their jobs because the other eliminated positions were vacant, or becoming open, due to employees retiring or from contractual bumping.
In April, the district laid off 42 teachers as the district faced declining enrollment.
