AKRON, Ohio - After deliberating for about five days, jurors have reached a verdict in the Akron retrial of Denny Ross for the 1999 murder of Hannah Hill.
A Summit County Common Pleas Court judge will read the verdict in about a half hour.
Jurors began deliberating around 3:35 p.m. Monday, after hearing weeks worth of testimony. The jury is made up of nine women and three men.
Ross's retrial began on Aug. 20. He's charged with two counts of murder, felonious assault, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence in connection to Hill's murder. A judge declared a mistrial in 2000.
