Ferdinand Torres Vargas, a 27-year-old Hispanic man, was reported as an escaped prisoner Friday by Cleveland police.
Police said Vargas escaped during a court holding Friday. He was in the custody of corrections officers.
Vargas was in court on warrants, including one for domestic violence, police reported.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland police or call 9-1-1.
The Integrity Control Section will further investigate the incident.
