CINCINNATI, Ohio - Jostin Construction says their workers are recovering after Friday's casino construction accident.
In a statement, the President, Albert Smitherman says, "we are pleased to report that all Jostin Construction, Inc. employees who were involved in the incident at the Cincinnati casino site on Friday are recovering."
Smitherman reports that two employees remain hospitalized and two were released late Saturday. These four employees are recovering from various orthopedic injuries. He says, three required surgery, and all are expected to recover but will need various levels of rehabilitation.
In the statement, Smitherman adds, "at Jostin, employees are considered family, and we will continue to do all that we can to ensure they receive the support they need during their recovery and rehabilitation... we would like to thank the Cincinnati Fire Department, Cincinnati Police Department and other first-responders as well as the Cincinnati medical community for their prompt action and expertise... safety is the foundation of our business and we will provide our full cooperation to the investigative team."
