Bachelor, Bachelorette host and creator Chris Harrison launches dating service At First Sight

He's known for helping singles find love on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" and now Chris B. Harrison is trying to help everyone who's looking for love.

Harrison and the creator of the Bachelor have collaborated to create At First Sight .

At First Sight is a new dating service that is working to bring singles together.

But what's unique about this service is it uses video profiles.

You can scroll through video thumbnails of singles in your area, and if one catches your eye, you can stop and play their introductory video. On the app, it almost has a Vine-like feel.

The creators say the videos help create more genuine connections. If you like a person's video, you can send them a message and get to know one another.

Chris Harrison says you can only learn so much from a photo, but the video profiles can really give you a sense of if you really want to meet them.

"It's an easier, more natural way to connect with people and figure out if you have chemistry together," said Harrison in a press release.

The creator of the Bachelor says that after producing 26 seasons of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette", he's seen through the casting process how videos can help you get to know someone quickly.

"At First Sight combines our experience in television with smart technology, to create a truly new kind of online dating that is easy to use and can help make better connections," said Mike Fleiss, creator of The Bachelor, in a press release.

The service is free and you can sign up via Facebook or with an email address.

The At First Sight app is available on both iOS and Android devices.

And who knows, you may eventually get a rose…or a dozen from your new significant other.
