Caseworker Contradicts Foster Mom About Last Visit With Missing Boy

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- A caseworker contradicted a statement made by the foster mother of a missing 3-year-old, NewsChannel5 partner ONN reported.She said she never saw Marcus Fiesel during an in-house visit earlier this month.His foster mother, Liz Carroll, said Marcus wandered away after she passed out in an Anderson Township park on Aug. 15.Carroll told the media the case worker saw the child during a weekly visit Aug. 10.Images: Toddler Missing However, Butler County authorities learned an employee with Lifeway for Youth was told Marcus was sick and she was turned away. Authorities had said she was the last person outside the foster family to see Marcus.In the meantime, authorities continue to follow up on tips. Deputies searched an area of woods off Asbury Hill Drive in Anderson Township early Friday morning. A caller claimed he heard a child crying.
