Gloria James Expected To Make Plea Deal This Week

AKRON, Ohio -- The mother of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James won't be going to trial next week in connection with a drunken driving charge.The trial for 37-year-old Gloria James has been cancelled, and a hearing for a plea deal has been scheduled for Friday, NewsChannel5 reported.Police arrested James in January after off-duty Akron officers noticed her driving erratically. She was also accused of disorderly conduct and kicking at a police cruiser window.
