CLEVELAND -- A child custody battle between a former Strongsville High School substitute teacher and her former student lover is now over.Christine Scarlett, 39, will share custody with the father of her 2-year-old son, former Strongsville football captain Steven Bradigan.The two had an affair when Bradigan was still a 17-year-old high school student.Scarlett's lawyer Eric Laubacher said the two put their differences aside and did what's best for their son. He said he doesn't believe criminal charges will be filed against Scarlett.School officials fired Scarlett when they found out about the affair.
