Suburban Teens Arrested In Connection With Graffiti Spree
Suspects Accused Of Defacing Several Building On Near West Side

CLEVELAND -- Two suburban teens are facing vandalism charges for allegedly defacing several buildings on Cleveland's near west side.Police said 19-year-old Daniel Horvat, of Wickliffe, and 18-year-old Danny Zhang, of Seven Hills, were arrested last week after they ran from police. Police discovered that the teens were carrying cans of spray paint. Among the places the teens are accused of defacing are the Great Lakes Brewing Co., in Ohio City, Franklin Circle Masonic Temple and trashcans and poles at a local school.Police said prosecutors want felony charges brought against the two men for the damage to historical buildings. Lt. Thomas Stacho said the damage to the brewery, which is part of a complex that is more than 100 years old, was about $1,500.Horvat and Zhang are also charged with drug abuse.
