Man In Court After Allegedly Driving Drunk, Causing Fatal Crash
Man Pleads Not Guilty

HIRAM, Ohio -- James Cline pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday in a Geauga County Common Pleas Court after allegedly driving drunk and causing a crash that claimed the lives of two Hiram College students. NewsChannel5 reported Cline faces 13 counts, including aggravated vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter and drunken driving in connection with the March 2 accident. During his court hearing, he waived his rights to a second arraignment. Cline has 11 drunken driving convictions. Karen Hensley, 50, was charged with involuntary manslaughter for lending Cline her car. One student remains hospitalized. Cline is being held on a bond unrelated to the new charges.
