CLEVELAND -- Local mayors and city managers are requesting that Congress let a northern Ohio teen stay in the country permanently, NewsChannel5 reported.A resolution was sent to Congress on behalf of Manuel Bartsch. Immigration authorities want to deport the Ohio high school student because of a paperwork mix-up.Bartsch came to the U.S. from his native Germany nine years ago, as a fourth-grader. He came with his grandfather on a 90-day Visa but never applied for permanent citizenship.Bartsch was detained in a local jail late last year until a judge granted him a temporary stay.
