King's Obituary

A three-hour public viewing of King's open casket is taking place before her funeral at the suburban Atlanta church.

Locally, there will be a silent march in honor of King on East 105th and Superior at 5 p.m. Tuesday, NewsChannel5 reported.

The march will lead to the Greater Abysinnia Baptist Church, which is located at East 105th and Tacoma Avenue.

The keynote speaker is the Rev. Earl Preston of the Morning Star Baptist Church.

The march is sponsored by the Cleveland chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
