AKRON, Ohio -- A trusted cheerleading coach at a local school faced a judge Friday, charged with having sex with a teenage boy she was coaching, NewsChannel5 reported.

As part of a plea agreement, Mishelle Robinson, 29, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual battery and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She will also be labeled as a sex offender.

Robinson taught cheerleading at a facility in Green, and was considered one of the most outstanding cheerleading coaches, with a long list of national championships.

She's accused of having sex with a 16-year-old boy, which apparently took place during the off season and did not happen at the training facility.

Robinson was suspended immediately after being questioned by authorities.

She could get one to five years on each count of the indictment. Sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
