No More Warnings: Red-Light Cameras Working

CLEVELAND -- Motorists had a two-week warning, and now Cleveland's red-light cameras will take pictures of speeders and drivers who run through intersections and mail out tickets. Tickets could carry fines up to $200, NewsChannel5 reported. City officials hope the cameras will make Cleveland streets safer, but critics believe the cameras might keep people from coming downtown, or increase rear-end collisions at those intersections. The cameras were installed a month ago. For a list of camera locations click here.
