Ford May Not Lose As Many Jobs

Official Says Only 750 May Lose Jobs

POSTED: 11:32 am EST November 4, 2005

There is some encouraging news for hundreds of Ford workers in northeast Ohio.

NewsChannel5 reported there may be less job losses when the Lorain Ford plant closes in December than what was expected.

The United Auto Workers expected 1,200 Ford workers would lose their jobs, but officials at the UAW said 750 people will get cut from Ford’s payroll.
