MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The driver who crossed several lanes and crashed into a Middleburg Heights police officer who was making a traffic stop has been charged.Images: Officer Released From Hospital | Images: I-71 Accident Injures Police Officer NewsChannel5 reported Randy Cutlip, of Cuyahoga Falls, was charged with failure to control his motor vehicle, changing lanes without caution and failure to pull left when approaching a stationary police car in connection with the April accident.In the Interstate 71 accident, Officer Ryan Nagy was pinned between two cars and had to have his leg amputated. If convicted of the misdemeanor charges, Cutlip faces a suspended driver's license and a $100 fine for each charge.
