Ohio Agency Directs Callers To Sex Line

Letter Sent To 7,000 Employers

The Department of Ohio Job and Family Services is blushing after a letter mistakenly directed employers to a sex phone line, NewsChannel5 reported.

The agency sent a letter to 7,000 Ohio employers asking them to take a survey by phone.

The number was off by one digit, sending callers instead to a 1-800 sex line.

"This is a regrettable and unfortunate error -- we apologize and have sent out follow-up letters to correct this mistake," an agency spokesperson said.
