CLEVELAND -- Several groups have added money to the growing reward in the investigation of the East 87th Street arson fire.
NewsChannel5 reported that the reward is now up to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the worst house fire in Cleveland's history.Police want to know who set the fire that killed eight children and a mother last month.The federal government added $10,000 to the reward through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.The State Blue Ribbon Campaign added $5,000, Crime Stoppers added $2,000 and Ganley Auto Group added $3,000.Investigators are working several leads in the case, and NewsChannel5 has learned police need just a little more key information to make an arrest.If you saw anything suspicious and would like to speak to a detective, please call (216) 623-5424.Or if you have any information and want to stay anonymous, call Cuyahoga County Crime Stoppers at (216) 252-7463.
