Hines was acquitted on all four charges against him. He had been charged with gross sexual imposition, attempted rape, kidnapping and disrupting public service.

Jurors began deliberations Tuesday afternoon, and reached the verdict around noon Wednesday.

Hines was on trial for the attempted rape of his 13-year-old cousin.

SLIDESHOW: Hines' First Trial

In a previous trial in March, jurors were unable to reach a verdict on several of the charges against Hines. During the first trial, he was found not guilty on four counts of assault stemming from prosecutors claims that he beat up his cousin's brother when he tried to intervene.

NewsChannel5 reported that ultimately, the defense destroyed the prosecution's timeline in the rape case and raised reasonable doubt about the credibility of Hines' accusers.

In December, Hines was acquitted in the 2003 kidnapping and murder of 11-year-old Shakira Johnson.

With Wednesday's verdict, Hines is a free man for the first time in nearly two years.

He spoke out for the first time after the verdict was read, saying that he was framed, both for Shakira's murder and for the rape allegation.

He points the finger at his own family, the 13-year-old cousin who accused him of rape and her mother.

He said that the set up was because of a money dispute. He owned his own business, and he said his family wanted him to work on their home for free.

He says that now that he's out of prison, he hopes to go back into business for himself. He said he doesn't fear retribution from the community, and also said that he feels the city owes him compensation for the two years of heartache he went through.
