SLIDESHOW: Doctor Shot In Head On Turnpike

Damian Bradford, 23, is being held on drug and probation violation charges, and is a person of interest in the slaying of Dr. Gulam Moonda.

Moonda was shot in the head on May 13 when he pulled over on the Ohio Turnpike to change drivers. His wife and mother-in-law were also in the car.

After he was first arrested earlier this week, Bradford's mother revealed that her son was allegedly having an affair with Moonda's wife, Donna.

Then, the results of the search warrant revealed a possible link between the two: a Skybank payment book in the name of Donna J. Smouse and Thomas Kase.

Smouse is Donna Moonda's maiden name, but the identity of Thomas Kase is still a mystery.

Other items found in the search of Bradford's car and apartment include a pink bath towel with a suspected bio-stain, vials of a steroid called dipo-testosterone, hypodermic needles, a can of baking soda, a digital scale, baggies and a spoon.

NewsChannel5 also learned that Donna Moonda has retained prominent Cleveland defense attorney Niki Schwartz.

He was hired after Moonda was interviewed by police for a second time. According to Schwartz, Moonda felt she was being questioned as more than a witness.
