CLEVELAND -- A Cleveland woman was shot Wednesday afternoon while she was picking up her daughter after school.

According to Cleveland police, the shooting occurred after the woman's daughter, an East High School student, got into an argument with another child.

Police said the woman told the other child that she and her daughter were leaving, but when they began to walk away the woman was shot in the leg.

The woman, Nicole Woods, was taken to University Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police say they have no suspects at this time.
