Officer's Condition Upgraded After Being Pinned Between 2 Cars

An officer who was injured after being pinned between two cars is doing better.

NewsChannel5 reported Middleburg Heights Officer Ryan Nagy is listed in fair condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.

SLIDESHOW: I-71 Accident Injures Police Officer, Motorist

He was upgraded from critical condition.

The driver of a pickup truck hit Nagy's police cruiser on Interstate 71 last Monday.

Nagy was writing a speeding ticket at the time of the accident. His right leg had to be amputated.
