CLEVELAND -- Daniel Hines faces gross sexual imposition and attempted rape charges in connection with an incident involving his 13-year-old cousin, NewsChannel5 reported.

In December, Hines was acquitted of killing 11-year-old Shakira Johnson.

The 13-year-old alleged victim testified in court Tuesday, saying that Hines touched her breasts. She said he also made movements "like sex" while lying on top of her and tried to smother her with a pillow.

WEWS reported her brother testified today, saying that Hines hit him with a crowbar and attempted to stab him with a knife.

He said he attempted to help his sister when he heard her screaming. Two calls to 911 were made from the home. Hines also made a call to 911. (Listen To Above Video)

The teen said that Hines locked his sister in a bedroom and she was screaming when he tried to help her. The teen also said Hines had a kitchen knife and a crowbar, adding that Hines threw the crowbar at him.

The defense says that Hines was not at the home the day of the rape.
