SCHEDULE: Healing Services Traffic in Garfield Heights was jammed. Police had to tell people that parking was full and to return later in the day. Some people came in wheelchairs, some in stretchers to see Dr. Issam Nemeh. Each person was given a ticket that helped create a line for entering the church. Nemeh was seeing about 60 to 80 people per hour at the church. The doors of the church were closed at about 9:30 p.m. A general blessing was done for anyone still inside the church at midnight. The service finally concluded at 2:30 a.m.
Nemeh's office said that the service was shut down after the doctor became exhausted. Those still wanting to attend should go to the next service April 3 at St. Ignatius High School, located on West 30th Street, in Cleveland.NewsChannel5 reported that one woman was overwhelmed at the Garfield Heights service and collapsed. She said the faith healer touched spots on her body that were hurting without her telling him where they were located. Barbara Wasco suffers from a neuro-muscular condition and she said she's in amazment of what happened to her. "He touched the spot without me ever saying anything. He touched the spots that were hurting. That is truly amazing to me," Wasco said. Leaders with the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland said that while this is a wonderful display of the work of the Lord, it should not replace modern medicine. Most people said they attended the service after seeing Henry's series on NewsChannel5. You can get the list of healing services, here.
