Feds Raid Office Of Cleveland Mosque Founder

FBI Says Case Not Related To Imam Damra Case

POSTED: 5:22 pm EST February 4, 2005

Federal agents Friday raided the offices of the founder of a Cleveland mosque, NewsChannel5 reported.

FBI raided Abrar CPA on Lorain Road. Abrar Haque, the business's owner, founded the Islamic Mosque of Cleveland, located on Rocky River Drive.

NewsChannel5's Michelle Relerford reported that the FBI isn't saying much about the sealed investigation.

Authorities did stress that this criminal investigation is not related to the case against Imam Fawaz Damra, who was convicted last year of lying about terrorist ties when applying for U.S. citizenship.
