AKRON, Ohio -- Cable viewers in Akron are angry about porn on their airwaves. Community activists said Time-Warner Cable allows hardcore pornography to be aired overnight on a community access channel, NewsChannel5 partner WAKR reported. They want the Akron City Council to come up with a community standards ordinance to block such programming. Time-Warner Vice President Bill Jasso said federal rules prohibit them from removing such community access programming.
