Have you used Akron's 311 system?
Workers operating the line say they've gotten more calls about stray cats and leaf pickup than anything else, NewsChannel5 reported.

The 311-call system cost $1.6 million. It is modeled after similar programs in other cities.

The system was six years in the making and city officials hoped 311 would handle all non-emergency phone calls to Akron City Hall.

The phone line is staffed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
