GIRARD, Ohio -- A pet monkey that escaped from its home in Girard, Ohio, near Youngstown, caused quite a ruckus over the weekend, ABC reported.

On Saturday, the pet female escaped and decided to take up temporary Residence at a Bob Evans Restaurant. As people watched, the pet monkey danced on the roof of the restaurant, and turned down a banana.

On Sunday, she was spotted crawling up some power lines and a trapper was summoned to the scene.

Sadly, the monkey was zapped by the power lines and fell 75 feet.

It is now receiving treatment at a Youngstown area veterinarian that specializes in exotic animals.
