CLEVELAND -- A federal judge has refused Fawaz Damra’s request to postpone his prison sentence until after an appeal is finished. The Islamic cleric was convicted of lying about terrorist ties on an immigration form. He was sentenced to two months in federal prison. Damra’s citizenship was also revoked by a judge in September. Damra is the leader of Ohio's largest mosque, the Islamic Center of Cleveland in Parma.
