Police Investigate Death Of 13-Month-Old

Authorities Suspect Children Were Abused

Springfield Township police are investigating the sudden death of a 13-month-old and the hospitalization of her twin sister, reported NewsChannel5.

Jacqueline May Cooper was taken to Akron Children's Hospital Thursday afternoon after being found unresponsive in her home, and later died.

Her sister was also hospitalized, but there is no word yet on her condition.

Authorities believe the children may have been abused.
