CLEVELAND -- The woman accused of driving the wrong way on Interstate 90, killing a newlywed couple, will spend the next 20 years behind bars.
Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula handed down the maximum sentence to a teary-eyed Robbie Moore at the Justice Center Tuesday.
PHOTOS: Wrong-Way Crash Prosecutors said in May, Moore drove into oncoming traffic on I-90 for 10 miles before killing Jeffrey Bliss and Ann Marie Roaloffs, of Parma. They were thrown from their motorcycle in the crash. Toxicology tests showed Moore's blood-alcohol level was 2.5 times the legal limit. And she was driving under a suspended license. The victims' families say they have mixed emotions. “I don't think justice will ever be served. It won't bring them back. But we got maximum allowable and we're happy with that,” said Ruby Buck, aunt. In addition to her 20-year prison term, Moore's driver's license is suspended for life.
