CLEVELAND -- Investigators are searching for the cause of a devastating fire that destroyed Horn Auto Body, a Cleveland landmark, NewsChannel5 reported.The clean-up crews are almost finished tearing down the building that was gutted by Saturday's fire at East 71st Street and Carnegie Avenue.
SLIDESHOW: Auto Body Shop Destroyed The fire broke Don Greene’s heart. He owns the building next to Horn Auto Body and collects old cars and memorabilia. "Everyone who bought a new car went to a place like Horn and got their brand new seats covered in plastic," Greene said.The business was also known for a 95-cent brake adjustment."They took that sign down years ago 'cause it rotated and the kids would ride around on it like an amusement park ride," Greene said.Greene said he believes firefighters did a great job stopping the fire from spreading to his building.
