CLEVELAND -- The sentencing of a Cleveland Muslim cleric will be delayed, reported NewsChannel5.A federal judge planned to sentence Imam Fawaz Mohammed Damra Sept. 9, but the sentencing has now been delayed until Sept. 20 because of a scheduling conflict.Damra was convicted last month on federal charges that he lied about ties to terrorist organizations when he applied for U.S. citizenship.Damra, who is leader of the Islamic Center of Cleveland, faces up to five years in prison, $5,000 in fines and deportation.The imam is currently free on bond.
