Electrician, 80, Found Guilty In Boy's Electrocution Death

PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- A jury found a fairground electrician guilty Tuesday in the electrocution death of an 8-year-old boy at the Lake County Fair, reported NewsChannel5.
Nicholas Rock, 80, is one of five people charged in connection with the death of Grayson Yoe, who was killed while standing in line for the bumper cars last August.An investigation found that improper grounding of the bumper car ride sent a jolt of electricity through Yoe when he touched a pole.Rock was found guilty on two counts, reckless homicide and involuntary manslaughter.Four other people were charged in Yoe's death, including two Ohio state inspectors.Rock could receive up to five years in prison. His sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
