Shoppers and employees at Euclid Square Mall are waiting for the official word to find out if the Dillard's store will stay open.
However, NewsChannel5 reports that a city official says that he expects it will close.
Euclid's director of economic development says he assumes that the store will close, because the mall is not making money.
It was announced Wednesday that Dillard's planned to close eight stores including the one at Parmatown Mall.
About 140 full- and part-time workers are going to be out of jobs.
Dillard's has not yet identified all the stores that will be closed.
