Love Notes, E-mails Released In Boszik Case
E-Mail Says He Will Divorce Wife

A report containing 155 documents related to the Carol Boszik murder case was filed in Medina County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.
According to the The Beacon Journal, Boszik implicated Richard Wise, the man who had an affair with Carol, Boszik's wife, when he was first interviewed by detectives. Boszik has been charged with murder in the case. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Friday. He indicated in the interview, however, that Wise was a man who visited his wife at Applebee's, where she worked. The Beacon reports that when Boszik was asked if he was bothered by that, he responded: "I was bothered; I wasn't upset ... We've had our ups and we've had our downs. I mean, our marriage hasn't been perfect, but it's been good."
This contradicts what Boszik had written in an e-mail in response to an ad on the 'Net. The Beacon says the message said he was seeking a new mate and potential mother for his two children.
He wrote: "I was going through the 'Net and I ran into your profile. Amazingly, most of your profile matches me and I thought I would drop you a line. I am not the type that searches this site, but (you) seem very nice and compatible. "My name is Steve, and I am 41 years old living in the suburb of Akron. I am currently separated from my soon to be (ex-wife) and there is NO way that we will get back together. The trust that I had for her left when she decided that her life was more important with someone else than me and our kids."
Love notes written on the back of lunch receipts from Applebee's were also included in the documents. They were found in the glove compartment of Carol's 1999 Dodge Durango, The Beacon reports.
One note said, "This wonderful man came into my life and made me happy -- thank you. As for expectations -- just honesty, continue being you because that's the person I'm falling in love with. Carol." From Our Archives:
