A Summit County taxi driver charged with killing a motorist took the stand in his own defense today.

When there was almost an accident between the two men, Russell reportedly became angry and broke the cab's window. Dossie then allegedly shot Russell in the chest. See some of Dossie's testimony.
The Associated Press says Defense Attorney Kirk Migdal played a tape of a 16-pound bowling ball crashing through the window of a taxi cab door during the trial Wednesday.
It was an attempt to demonstrate for the jury what Dossie experienced last summer. A forensic expert testified the noise level would be equivalent to what someone would hear 600 meters away from a jet aircraft takeoff. From Our Archives:
