CLEVELAND, Posted 9:07 p.m. November 3, 1998 -- The Board of Elections ran into a problem tonight involving ballot counting.

NewsChannel5 reports absentee ballots were supposed to be counted by 8 o'clock, but counters apparently counted more ballots than they received, therefore a recount was necessary.

Counters are hoping they will not run into another problem when the precinct ballots start rolling in.
