SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- A Cleveland woman filed a police report saying that she dropped her purse outside the store where the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was sold, NewsChannel5 reported.
Elecia Battle said she grabbed up her belongings after dropping her purse but didn't realize the ticket was missing until after the winning numbers were picked.After the final tally, officials said the ticket is worth $162 million and a one-time cash payment of $95 million.The numbers are significant in her life, WEWS reported.
