WESTLAKE, Ohio -- Items confiscated from the home and vehicle of the Browns' William Green included marijuana, a bathroom door, cigars and a bloody bridal magazine.
NewsChannel5's Joe Pagonakis obtained the search warrants the Westlake Police Department used to search the sites for suspected drugs and for evidence that Green's fiancee, Asia Gray, may have stabbed Green in the back Wednesday morning.
Green maintains that the stabbing was an accident.
Police found marijuana in three different locations in the Westlake home and they also confiscated cigars, cigar boxes and loose tobacco. Capt. Guy Turner, of the Westlake Police Department, said that these items were confiscated because it is possible the cigars were hollowed out, the tobacco removed, and replaced with marijuana.
Reports that Green was drinking the night before the incident were disputed by Green's friend, Derrick Childs, who was with Green at the time. He said that Green bought drinks for Childs, but did not drink anything.
Green's drinking would have violated the suspension issued by the NFL for DUI and drug possession charges.
Westlake police said Gray's hearing will take place Dec. 10. She is charged with domestic violence and felonious assault.
