Man Indicted On Putting Hit Out On Judge
Convict Reportedly Hired Two Men To Kill Judge
A man was indicted Thursday on charges of trying to put a hit out on a judge.
Joseph Casalicchio is currently serving a 33-year sentence for drug charges, handed down by judge Kathleen Sutula in February 2001.
Prosecutors said inmates overheard Casalicchio discussing his plans to have the judge killed.
Prosecutors said Casalicchio paid two men $35,000 to kill Sutula, and that in April the men drove by Sutula's Seven Hills home and fired three shots into it.
Police do not know who the two men allegedly hired by Casalicchio are, but hope to have more information soon.
Casalicchio will be arraigned Friday at 9 a.m.
