CLEVELAND -- Officials have cornered off the area where Shakira Johnson's body was found in a field on East 71st Street and Aetna, NewsChannel5 reported.
The FBI and Cleveland police are at the scene. The street is blocked off.They are focusing on an alleyway, WEWS said. It's unknown what sparked the search. Bloodhounds are also being used.The area is routinely full of people coming to drop off cards, flowers or stuffed animals at a gate outside the area where Shakira's body was found. Officials discovered the body after getting a tip call.Meanwhile, Cuyahoga County Coroner Elizabeth Balraj is expected to rule on the cause of death.Shakira's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. The public is welcome to attend.
