CLEVELAND -- Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich plans to officially start his presidential campaign Monday at Cleveland City Council chambers.
The Democrat stumped Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa, where January precinct caucuses launch the presidential nominating season, NewsChannel5 reported.
Also this week, Kucinich plans to vote against President George W. Bush's $87 billion spending request for military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Kucinich said he believes many Americans are shocked at the
spending request.
He said his plan calls for Bush to hand over security concerns
and control of Iraq's oil to the United Nations.
