Training To Begin Today

POSTED: 7:59 a.m. EDT September 24, 2003

A Child Is Missing, a nonprofit organization, is launching a new system that may help missing children be found, according to NewsChannel5.

The organization will begin today training law enforcement agencies on the system that will automatically call residents in an area where a child is missing.

A message will be recorded and delivered to homes in the area with a description of the child.

A Child Is Missing is devoted to the search and early recovery of missing children who are either lost or abducted and the elderly or mentally challenged.
