CLEVELAND -- A community is banding together to help find a missing Cleveland girl. Shakira Johnson, 11, was last seen at a block party Saturday night.
Johnson went with her brothers to the gathering on East 106th Street. The boys lost track of her at about 7 p.m., NewsChannel5 reported. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with big side pockets, a white T-shirt and light blue tennis shoes.Shakira's mother, Alisa Randle, said the boys came home without Shakira. She says that it is not like Shakira to run away. Randle thinks that someone is holding her daughter against her will. She is offering a $2,000 reward for information in Shakira's disappearance or her safe return. Randle made a plea to the person responsible to let her go. "Just let her come home please. I just tell everybody to keep her in their prayers. Keep Shakira in your prayers. And whoever has her, just let my baby come home because I know she wants to be home and you know that's my baby, she needs us and I need her and I want her to come home," Randle said. The family has put posters up all around the neighborhood. If you have information, call Cleveland Police at (216) 621-1234.
