PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The family of an 8-year-old boy killed a fair is preparing to say goodbye this weekend.
Greyson Yoe (pictured, right) was shocked as he waited in line for a ride at the Lake County Fair last month. He died last week. Now, the Lake County Sheriff's Department said criminal charges could be filed. In the meantime, Greyson's parents are hoping to raise awareness and make sure this kind of accident does not happen again. "Obviously, publicity has been raised locally after the accident, but (we) would like to increase safety on a larger scale," family attorney Dan Haude said. Greyson will be laid to rest Saturday. A fund has been set up for the family of the young victim. Donations can be made at any Great Lakes Bank or can be mailed to: The Greyson Yoe Safety Fund
