CONNEAUT, Ohio -- A Conneaut man faces charges after he reportedly struck his neighbor with a riding lawn mower during an argument, reported The Star Beacon.
Charles Green, 53, is charged with aggravated menacing, assault and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $6,000 and he was ordered not to have any contact with his neighbor.
The newspaper reported that witnesses said the attack occurred when the alleged victim spoke to Green about the debris the mower was throwing onto his property.
The victim, a 32-year-old man who walks with the aid of a cane, told police he approached Green and asked him to be more careful. Green became belligerent and told the man to get off the property or he'd be run over, the victim told police.
Green accelerated the lawn tractor, reportedly striking the victim in the right leg. The man had an abrasion on his leg, police said.
