CLEVELAND -- The Peter B. Lewis Building at Case Western Reserve University is expected to reopen some time this week, NewsChannel5 reported.
The building, which is the home of the Weatherhead School of Management, was rattled with gunfire about 10 days ago.
Case students attended commencement ceremonies Sunday.
It was a bittersweet graduation day at Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University.
Norman Wallace, 30, was killed in a shooting rampage when a gunman entered the building and started shooting at random.
A graduate student killed nine days ago during a shooting rampage on campus was remembered as Case awarded about 2,000 degrees. A Case alumnus has been charged in the attack.
Case president Edward Hundert called the graduation turnout "an inspiring reminder of the great and humane purposes" of the university.
The keynote speaker was Geraldine Ferraro, a former New York congresswoman and unsuccessful 1984 Democratic nominee for vice president.
