Road Maps Found In Shooting Suspect's Car

Officials Confiscate Computer From Home

POSTED: 4:16 p.m. EDT May 16, 2003

Biswanath Halder, the accused shooter in last week's shooting rampage at Case Western Reserve University allegedly planned the shooting spree, NewsChannel5 reported.

Information obtained from two search warrants were issued for Halder's car and home.

In Halder's home, all of his computer equipment was confiscated, but police also found four boxes of wigs.

Witnesses at the scene comfirmed that Halder was wearing a wig the day of the shooting rampage.

Also found in the house was a full compliment of passports and a gun-cleaning kit and instructions for the Ruger pistol that he reportedly used.

Four hundred twenty-five live rounds of 9 mm ammunition, a night stick and six road maps were found in his car.

Officials said all of the evidence will be used to build a case against Halder.
